Egypt 10 intense days with his magic, dance, and people
I knew that I was hallucinating because I travel a second time (with AprendeDanzaOriental.com). We have traveled Egypt from Alexandria to Abu-Simbel, traveling all the way the Nile Each site that we were different from everyone else. Each city or village has its special magic.
In Alexandria, I stay with the sea and atmosphere of a city having the Mediterranean Sea is very similar things to our shores. From what I visited what I hallucinated was the huge library with books translated into many languages. Well the mosque where he went in, one last, precious. Women invited us to sit down with them and talk about anything. Much obliged.
From Cairo I prefer the bustle of people and cars, which despite being seemingly total chaos has its logic. Contrast that can exist in different parts of the city, the area of the City of the Dead, in which people live in houses, tombs, the new part of Cairo, without noise and with buildings that remind you of Spain, and the Khan el Khalili market, with thousands of people calling for attention to come into their stores. And the Coptic area of the city, with some churches, mosques and synagogues amazing. I believe what they are rare when you see that women are so clogged, but they are the ones that look at you and say how blown away we dressed ourselves. That's incredible.
In Luxor, the wedding to which we invited The Musicians of the Nile, the whole family who treated us like part of it, of the dances that we lay down for them. Children as I touched the hair and skin hallucinating with people from another cultura.Luego the cruise from Luxor to Awan us great wine to relax and enjoy a desert landscapes and vegetation, with the townspeople who greet you from riverbank, and the number of temples you see from the boat.
Well, Aswan, this year I have confirmed that this is the prettiest of the whole country. It is here more comfortable I felt. We always remind Ahmed, dancer Nubian dance group. It is always there encouraging and yet we are at home, caring. Of trips in small boats, making henna tattoos, dancing, or charge batteries with the full moon. Elephantine Island, the Nubian people and their houses. Or swim in the river and eating in the sand under a tree, accompanied by a camel and two sheep.
Besides the classes we've had, we have been dancing where we went, giving the note as good Spanish. Throughout the trip we were with Mohamed el Sayed, who Charo put the name of Tutankhamun, has a strong resemblance. Always sleeping in any corner and making pictures of how you sleep. Hahahaha. Always giving explanations of what we saw, holding our questions. And giving us a touch of joy. But he is not the same. The night we spent on the train, Raquel, he and I, in the room talking in my Spanish-English, being silly and three kids. It was a blast!! A penalty was not recorded.
Mohamed also the guide, which also had the patience of a camel. We spent the whole journey by teaching words in Spanish, and he to us in Arabic. Of giving me good morning every morning, good morning a characteristic of him. He takes very fond of this guy is a great person. Madrid has a friend.
Well, the four Marys, Charo, Ana, Raquel, and myself. No matter where we were that we had to mount it somehow. Among jams boat baths, massage, and our comments in the temples ... We remembered as the Spanish of shit .... (Has a double meaning)
I would have liked to have been at each site two days to enjoy it better, and that at no time could undo the bag. This trip has to be two weeks the organization but guidelines was all improvised doing what we wanted at the time. I prefer to travel well. Well, I'm thinking to see what I can say bad about this trip but do not think of anything. I've had great, I felt very grateful to all the people I've met have all been very kind, always giving us all so we're comfortable. A thousand hugs to everyone who has been with us watching over us.> I can not ever forget this trip and its people.
Mara Cancela.
