SORIA WELCOMES THE SAMPLE OF CINEMA II Middle East and Maghreb (SINIMA)
Cives scheduled Mundi Film Festival II Middle East and Maghreb (Sinim) in Soria for next week with the aim of bringing the contemporary Arab cinema citizenship while seeking to promote a meeting point for reflection and analysis of relations between East and West. The exhibition is an awareness project funded by the Spanish Cooperation Agency (AECI), with the collaboration of Arab House, and already held in Madrid late last September with great success.
This time the cycle will take place at Culture Centre Gaya Nuño between 22 and 26 October from 19.00. Admission is free until full capacity.

In addition to the documentary screening on Sunday, October 21 promotional activity took place: Arabic music and dance by the dancer and musicians Leena Qadi Fernando Depiaggi (nay), Tarek Halabi (Darbukka) and Hicham Khyry (violin). Tahmila interpreted as topics, Alf Leila wa Leila, Ana Zarak Fintia, Bahlam Beek ... among others.

The second edition of Sinim be based on three pillars: Refugees, Identity and Arab women. These aspects will be developed in the projections, reflecting the contemporary Arab society.
This is a film festival which is intended to enhance dialogue, understanding and solidarity between East and West. Similarly, another of its goals is to become, at the same time, a meeting point for reflection and analysis of the relationship between these two worlds.
With this second edition of the show is to create a platform for the dissemination of independent work are difficult to access commercial channels of film production and distribution.
