Valderrama tour begins

OPEN RECRUITMENT: 615 26 78 56 or gestioncultural@orientarte.net

Rarely the title of an album becomes a reflection so faithful to its content, as it is in this new recording of Valderrama: "Modern Tradition."

Interpreting contemporary flamenco artist, becomes involved in a lively debate between various cultures and different times causing new sounds.

The tour begins in Marrakesh and run by several countries and several provinces of Spain. Furthermore, this tour will accompany three musicians Valderrama orient yourself.

In these times when the musical productions of most of the artists, both national and international programming comes from machine-made, through which and by means of the latest software market, we can get any sound. But, Valderrama has been locked in each country where there were different songs that make this album truly special with musicians of the instruments have been used, getting together the expertise, sensitivity and emotion that produces the mixing of cultures and the vortex feelings, as they have involved more than fifty musicians from four different countries (Spain, Argentina, Egypt and Turkey) achieving a sound so far unknown to the Spanish public and yet triumphs all over Europe and especially in the Middle East which is becoming more Western.

Fusion of flamenco guitars with traditional Eastern percussion instruments and strings, which were the origin of all music dating back to 2800 BC in faraway Egypt, and new technologies applied to current music gets a fresh sound in which But the taste lingers well done, traditional and authentic.

Also the CD has four producers, who know the most important musicians in every style and giving each song its native style and personal.

In Egypt, Adel Hakki, composer and performer of songs for grades Disney and Bollywood productions. Adel moves like a fish in water conducting large orchestrations. Producer of the leading artists of the Middle East as Amr Diab and Tamer Hosni, millionaires in record sales, something unthinkable and impossible on this side of the planet. Some of his compositions are part of catalogs of disks as exclusive as the Buddha Bar which publishes the famous Parisian restaurant, home and distributed worldwide.

In Turkey, Oguz Kaplangi, founder of electronic music "Zipunt" and perhaps the best tradition has managed to merge with electronic media, bringing modernity to songs some of which are centuries-old flamenco compositions. This producer has chosen great musicians from the Turkish Roma, located in a crowded district of Istanbul, to shape the four songs he has produced.

The collaboration of group of drummers "Harem", found in Europe, has been fundamental, and ancient sounds that bring through darbuka, djembe and bendirs, played ancient instruments of the most modern way imaginable. Another formation, this time with strings, "Senyaylar Strings Ensemble" consists of a family of musicians makes arrangements designed Oguz with tremendous skill, are both exciting and wild, in that there are mixed harmonics impossible to describe pictures without being heard.

In Spain, in Seville, a teacher, Jesus Carmona "El Bola". No doubt it takes over the Flemish part and moving the disk, but also the most difficult to understand. In his repertoire highlight two pearls. The first and thanks to technology, a duet between father and son "Romance of the Roma", an unreleased track that the great Juanito Valderrama was in the studio recording of "El Bola" when death snatched a blow wisdom and his art, his voice fading forever.

The second, "Man I'm wearing," an intimate and disturbing piece in which the personal voice of Valderrama, only accompanying sound of an organ of XVI century church, located at the Cathedral of Jaén, a of the few bodies that are active in Spain. Thanks to the Chapter of the Cathedral of Jaén and on behalf of the diocesan archivist Canon D. Juan Francisco Martínez Rojas, could make this point: it is the first time that the church can record in any of its precincts and any of its organs whatever music is not sacred.

Finally, a tango. His producer of course Argentine Horacio Icasto and its composer Edgardo Moragas, and all the musicians who participated in this topic. This tango is a small license that allows VALDERRAMA to fulfill the word he gave in his day the author of "A Tango in Madrid."

With these ingredients is easy to imagine the result. A production full of nuances and new sounds in the Spanish music scene, joined by the thread of voice and unmistakable personality Valderrama.

Show "Orient Expression" with the Company Hanin

The Company has its show Hanin OrientExpression. On a script by Marga Gomez (AprendeDanzaOriental.com collaborator) and the direction of Ellen Judge, the show is guiding the thoughts of a traveler who embarks on a train to East in search of light. During his trip, the thoughts of the traveler, in the voice of Diego Provence, overlaps with the "view" that sees through the window of the train and their own dreams.

The show, performed by our artists Leena Qadi, Nephthys Paloma, Nadia Heart, Cristina Gadea and Sonia Alejandre, is a good example of different styles that can be found in oriental dance, from classical dances such as baladi, to flamenco-mergers Arab cíngaroriental or pharaonic dance to techno. Sabre Dance, dance of snakes and camels, Sufi dancing, folk dancing such as Saidi, the Bedouin and Nubian ...
